1. Data controller

The Art Games website is operated by Art Games SRL, Reg. Com. no. J2013015799405, CUI 32616298, with its registered office at Palatul Cesianu-Racoviță, Str. C. A. Rosetti 5, Bucharest.

2. What data we process

• identification and contact data: name, email address, phone number;
• application data: your CV in PDF format and the message you send us;
• data contained in the messages you send us by email or phone;
• technical data: IP address, device and browser type, access and security logs.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• evaluating applications submitted through the “Join the team” form — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given by ticking the consent box in the form;
• responding to your requests and messages — legitimate interest and, where applicable, pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f));
• website security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f));
• compliance with the legal obligations that apply to us (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we disclose data to

Your data is accessible only to members of the Art Games team involved in evaluating your application or answering your message. We do not sell or rent personal data.

We work with providers who help us deliver the service, acting as processors and under confidentiality obligations:

• hosting and infrastructure providers;
• the email provider through which we receive and send messages.

5. International transfers

We generally process data within the European Economic Area. If a provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (for example, standard contractual clauses).

6. How long we keep data

• applications (including CVs) — for up to 12 months from submission, after which they are deleted; we can delete them at any time at your request;
• messages and correspondence — for as long as necessary to reply to you and to keep a record of the relationship, within the limits of the law;
• technical logs — for a short period, as needed for website security.

7. Data security

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), private storage of CVs, access limited to authorized persons and regular updating of systems.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your data:

• the right of access and to receive a copy of the data;
• the right to rectification and erasure (“the right to be forgotten”);
• the right to restriction of processing and to data portability;
• the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP, the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing).

9. Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation and security of the website (for example, session cookies and form protection cookies). We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

We show you an informational notice on your first visit; the fact that you have closed it is stored only in your browser (local storage), without being sent to us. If we introduce cookies in the future that require consent, we will ask for your agreement before activating them.

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update indicated above.
